You’re Invited! Join us for a discussion about nutrition with Dr. Deena Adimoolam, @Doctor_Deena, who will share her tips on how to use nutrition to empower your health.
Dr. Deena Adimoolam trained in primary care and endocrinology at Yale University and currently works in New York. Her expertise lies in primary care prevention, diabetes, obesity, living wellness and many other hormonal issues. Her passion is educating the public on health prevention through food, lifestyle and knowledge.
Her inspiration and motivation comes from the many patients whom she treats for type 2 diabetes and obesity, who have managed their illnesses with significant changes to their diet and lifestyle. Her work in the community has been recognized by many scholarships and service awards throughout her career.
Dr. Deena, as her patients call her, enjoys cooking and experimenting with flavors and spice. She is an avid food and health blogger, who routinely shares recipes with the public. Her goal is to show that healthy foods can be cheap, easy, and delicious.
She routinely takes part in Patient Chats to help empower patients to make better decisions about their health and overcome the many hurdles presented by the healthcare industry.
