Mr. Leigh is the Founder and Director of The Center for Healthcare Communication. He focuses on helping patients communicate with professionals and professionals communicate with patients. In his column on the website, ecarediary.com, he answers patient questions on how to communicate with members of their healthcare team.

He is a national expert on patient-centered care and patient satisfaction, presenting high-energy and informative programs for hospitals, medical practices, long-term care facilities and healthcare associations. His national television appearances include The Oprah Winfrey Network, The Today Show, MSNBC News, The Learning Channel and the Discovery Channel. Katie Couric and Montel Williams have interviewed him. He recently created a page-a-day calendar for healthcare professionals called, The 2016 Engaging Your Patients Calendar: 366 Top Tips to Connect, Interview and Educate.
